Black Snake Moan

I've been watching a lot of Samuel L. Jackson movies lately, and this one is my favorite. Yes, the movie poster makes it seem like it'd be a very sexual film but it isn't. I mean, it's a touching story, but the main female character, Rae played by Christina Ricci, is half-naked for 80% so I wouldn't let any children watch it. Anyways, in the beginning we find Rae heartbroken because the man she loves is being deployed, and her demons send her down a dark road that leaves her beaten bloody on the side of the road. Lazarus, an old blues man (played be Samuel L. Jackson) was cheated on by his now ex-wife, and he also has a few demons lurking around. He finds the beaten girl and decides to take it upon himself to cure her from her evil ways with love (not dirty stuff), lessons, and a 40 lbs chain. This film shows that people who've gone through the worst things can still change for the better, and it'll leave you thinking about it well after it ends.
